Overview
Ask supporters to make phone calls for you and track the results. It's the easiest way to setup call scripts and surveys and capture all the feedback.
Ask supporters to Make Phone Calls
Note: If you haven’t already done so, you must first install the Action Plugin and then setup at least one Kit.
We also recommend exploring the various widgets and APIs that can be used to integrate this Action into the rest of your online and offline tools.
Mobilize It
To mobilize the the Make Phone Calls action:
- Click the "Mobilize" button from any location within the Staff App.
- Select who you want to complete this Action by segment or individual supporters.
- Personalize the body of the message that your supporters will receive.
- Select the Action "Make Phone Calls"
- Select your Action Kit which you previously created
- Click mobilize.
Install It
To install this action:
- Go to the Platform Config section and select Action Plugins.
- In the top left corner select the "Install/Uninstall Plugins" button.
- Simply click "Install" to load this Action into your Wildfire Platform.
Next Step: Once your Make Phone Calls Action is installed, you'll want to setup one or more Kits.
Set Up the Kits
To set up this Action Kit:
- Go to the Platform Config section and select Action Kits.
- Select "New Action Kit" for the Make Phone Calls action.
Basic Details
- Give the kit a name. This is for your records in the Staff App.
- Describe the purpose of the Action. The purpose will explain to each supporter why it is important for them to make phone calls.
- Set an individual goal. i.e. How much phone calls do you want each supporter to make?
Microtargeting
1. Select a segment of people who you want your supporters to call.
Call Scripts
1. Type the calls scripts that you want your supporters to use on the phone.
Voicemail Scripts
1. Type the script you want your supporters to read if they reach a voicemail service.
Survey
1. Select which survey you want your supporters to use, or create a new survey.
- Give your kit a title. This is what your supporters will see.
- List the suggested donations amounts.
- If you require FEC Fields like company name and job title, check the box entitled "Require FEC Fields"
- Insert a Custom Action Page URL that contains the fundraising widget for this kit. Supporters can be forwarded to this URL instead of the default action page hosted in Wildfire Platform.
